Live the Dream with us as we take you across the USA along the Mother Road, Route 66. Your dedicated guide will be Daniel Azzopardi. Daniel has over 25 years experience on bikes and currently rides a 100th Anniversary Harley Davidson Softail Deuce. Daniel, proudly sponsored by DriRider, is passionate about taking you along the Mother Road.
Your tour will be run in conjunction with the cars and the group dynamic will blow your mind. What this means is we are all at the same hotels together each night but each day the cars follow the cars guide and the bikes will follow Daniel, your experienced motorcycle guide. The bike itinerary, although it follows the same road, is customised for a better riding experience. Our goal is to keep the cars and the bikes separate throughout each day, but come together at night.
Remember that this is a self ride independent group tour and you are free to head on down the road alone, with mates or new friends. We supply you with the tools and knowledge to get out on the open road and discover the real USA on Route 66. However Daniel, as your motorcycle guide, is available to show the way to ensure you see the very best that this classic highway has to offer. Route 66 can be very tricky to find in places and we want you to see the very best, maximising your Route 66 experience.

Warning - there is currently a rash of unlicensed people offering Tours of Route 66 and the Sturgis Rally. Your first question should not be how much, it should be "Are you a licensed operator?" Route 66 Tours is operated under the parent company of Complete Travel Solutions. We are a family owned and operated business here for the long haul.

The real America does begin at the off ramp and we focus on riding the real Route 66. Many other tours just touch on the towns and ride the Interstate System. That is just a rip-off and we believe that the Interstate is just a tool to be used only when absolutely necessary. Come and see Route 66 in all its classic glory. Allow us to show you parts of the Mother Road rarely ever ridden let alone seen by tourists.
The bikes will be supported by a van to handle your luggage, backup fuel and to carry a spare motorcycle in the rare event that we have mechanical problems with a bike. All the bikes come with 24/7 backup from our suppliers as well as full insurance. (USD $1000 Excess)
NOTE: You must be min. 21 years old and hold a valid unrestricted motorcycle licence.

The Motorcycles
All of the bikes come with 24 hour road side assistance. Each of our bikes is the current year or late model and are equipped with sissy bars (excluding our Electra Glides they have tour packs), windshields, and luggage racks. We will provide up to two helmets with each bike. Please note that the 2011 Rental Fleet is now confirmed and we offer a great selection.
Note - It is recommended that you bring your own helmet as the hire ones are basic and are never as good as your very own.
